“We separate the wheat from the chaff.”
The Fleet Sheet is a daily English-language news bulletin devoted to the main business and political activities in the Czech Republic. It’s been a leading source of Czech news since 1992. The one-page newsletter is published in Prague each business day by 8 a.m. It’s available by subscription only, but you may sample a recent issue by clicking here). You may also test it for a two-week period by registering for a Free Trial.
Publisher Erik Best and his experienced team comb through the Czech press every morning and choose the most important business, political and cultural items. The selection of the news is the Fleet Sheet’s strongest point. Almost anyone can translate the headlines, but it takes real understanding of the local environment to dig deeper and uncover the news items that make the biggest difference. This is why most of the country’s major companies subscribe to the Fleet Sheet.
The Fleet Sheet Archive includes all the individual articles published in the Fleet Sheet since 1991, in a format that is easy to search. It’s an invaluable service. Full access to the Archive is available only to subscribers to the daily Fleet Sheet bulletin, but a limited search capability is available free to anyone.
The Final Word is published Monday-to-Thursday each week and provides a quick commentary on major business and political issues. A Czech version of the Final Word is also available. The Friday Edition is our weekly analysis of the main political and business events in the Czech Republic. It’s included free with each subscription to the Fleet Sheet daily bulletin and is not available elsewhere (but you can sample a recent issue by clicking here).
The Fleet Sheet, Final Word and Friday Edition are serious products for anyone who is serious about succeeding in his or her field in the Czech Republic.
